Good afternoon. As of 1PM today we've given out approximately 100 or so cable boxes. That's terrific! Thank you very much for being patient with us if you find a line when you come to pick up your box.
Unfortunately, I'm receiving reports of boxes not working and/or not being registered with Comcast. When you hook-up your box to the wall and connect it to your TV a picture should appear. If you get a message saying - no signal/not registered (or something close to that) - it means that Comcast has not yet uploaded the serial number on your boxes to your room account.
You can call Comcast customer service at 215-992-2712 if you don't have signal or are receiving a not-registered message.
If your box does not work - won't turn on, no signal, no lights i.e. nothing - please bring it back to the office. We have a limited amount of extra boxes.
Hopefully everyone's box works and we all can sit back and indulge in the glorious rapture that is cable TV soon.
